Hi there! I’m Mylene — your friendly garden coach from Gnomes Garden I’m so glad you’re starting (or continuing!) your gardening journey with us.
My love for gardening began when I was a child learning from my grandpa. After finishing a fruit, he’d hand me the seed and say, “Let’s plant this and see what happens.” Watching that tiny seed sprout, grow, and eventually bear fruit felt like magic. It taught me patience, care, and how rewarding it is to grow something with your own hands.
When I moved from the Philippines to Austin, Texas, my husband and I continued that passion together. We’ve made plenty of mistakes and learned just as many lessons along the way! I’ve since joined the Kyle Garden Club, became a certified Gardenary Consultant, and deepened my knowledge through hands-on workshops and 1:1 mentorship from experienced gardeners.
Now, I get to share that same joy with others — helping people create gardens that make them smile every time they step outside.
